Health Promotion Board The Joy of Less for Ramadan

When it comes to sweet treats for your loved ones, less sugar means more love.

This campaign goes out to our Muslim friends in Singapore during Ramadan festive season. It was first conceptualised and presented in English, and transcreated with lots of love and care.

The main film features a Makcik we all know (like the Italian Nonna or Chinese Po po) – the matriarch who cooks by feel and measures with hand.

The film is supported by bite-sized low-sugar recipe videos featuring Raya goodies. The first in ASMR style, because Makcik is hip this way.

The second with a dreamy Wong Kar Wai vibe.

And the third in stop motion. Yep, we had a lot of fun!

The campaign's interactive key visual went out on 6-sheets, bus wraps, print and green packets (gifted as part of Raya celebration). The AR filter can be experienced with Instagram.

Along with all these, we also gave lots of tips on social media, on how to go low-sugar for a happy and healthy Raya!
