I am a creative writer, most recently Associate Creative Director at Publicis Groupe Singapore, currently on hiatus.
Also, an idealist who believes copywriting has a part to play in making the world a kinder place.
I like listening before solving. Love big ideas, wild brainstorms, brand manifestos that heal, being unafraid to write and rewrite, building beautiful decks, and selling ideas in spirited presentations.
Was once a news producer, and walked with dinosaurs as marcoms manager at the National Museum of Singapore, before becoming the oldest junior copywriter at DDB Singapore.
By now, I’ve accumulated close to 10 years of agency experience, and have worked on local and regional brands including, McDonald’s, Neutrogena for Johnson & Johnson, HUAWEI, Visa, Singapore Health Promotion Board, Tanqueray for Diageo, and ESSO.
In the past decade, I’ve often been described as a strategic thinker, intuitive marketer, keen observer, and speaker of soothing words.
Just in case you’re the one person who needed to know, I went to school at University of Warwick (MA Creative Writing), National University of Singapore (BA English Language & Japanese Studies), Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (International Student Exchange Programme), and Hwa Chong Junior College.
